About Breckenridge Elementary

Breckenridge Elementary offers Young 4's, Developmental Kindergarten, All Day Kindergarten as well as an after-school latchkey program through Fifth Grade.

Almost five hundred children enjoy curriculum rooted in tradition and enriched with the arts and technology.

Breckenridge Elementary has met the state standards of Adequate Yearly Progress. Every teacher meets the federal and state requirements as "highly qualified".

Character Education is embedded in our daily activities. We model, encourage and promote the six pillars of character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Fairness and Citizenship.

Learning is celebrated daily in the classrooms. Each week students display their work on the "Wall of Wonderful Work".

Our discipline policy and procedures promote student responsibility and problem solving. We use the Responsible Thinking Classroom model and have found it to be successful.
